Writing my own story...

The daughter of well-meaning parents with a family business in Germany, I grew up thinking that I had only one choice in life: Go to school, get a good training, and continue the stable family business. While this laser focus led me to a busy international hospitality career in my 20s, it didn't leave me with any sense of who I really was.

Since the age of 9 I had a passion for writing and I always had a niggling feeling that I wanted to pursue being a writer in whatever capacity. My family, however, saw this as a ‘bread-less’ art and encouraged me to follow the steps of the generations before me.

In the effort to pursue my passion, whilst working in hospitality I began writing online for as little as 1 cent per word, just for the joy and of course, the little extra money. I knew I wanted to grow this passion into a career but I faced many struggles in entering this and felt very stuck.

After realizing I was too young to feel stuck, I walked away from the expectations of my family and embarked on the ultimate journey of self-discovery during my Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA). Alongside my EMBA, I invested in learning the tricks to being a successful Freelance Writer with a Writing Coach.

Now I have completed the EMBA degree easily?? and have also achieved 6-figures in my Freelance Writing Business.
